Gaming commission staff, inspectors, internal auditors, finance officers and more will gain a greater understanding of how to protect the casino operation at JOSEPH EVE CPAs’ next “Internal Audit Boot Camp.”
The popular boot camp series is now in its 17th year, and the next three-day session takes place December 7-9 at Red Rock Casino Resort Spa in Las Vegas. Just 10 spots remain for this training, and registration is available now at this link or go to www.josepheve.com and visit the events page. A hotel discount is also available now through November 11.
Instructing at the boot camp are three of the gaming industry’s leading audit experts: Grant Eve, Partner at JOSEPH EVE; Glen Galt, Manager at JOSEPH EVE; and Billy David, Owner/Consultant at Bo-Co-Pa & Associates.
Grant Eve said, “Proper internal auditing is a mission-critical function for a casino. It is an essential piece of compliance and in protecting the operation from internal and external threats that could compromise profitability. Come to the seminar so we can discuss how the internal audit department can bring value to the seminar.”
Over the course of the seminar’s three days, attendees will learn more about:
- Audit Requirements
- Class II 543 Internal Audit Responsibilities
- Communication within the Commission
- Gaming Ordinances
- Internal Audit Charters

- Testing in Mixed Class II and III Facilities
- Title 31 – Source of Funds and Due Diligence
All attendees will also be entered into a raffle for four tickets to an evening event at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, which will be taking place in Las Vegas the same days as the boot camp.
